Title: | Mandriva Security Advisory MDVSA-2012:167 (firefox) |
Summary: | NOSUMMARY |
Description: | Description: The remote host is missing an update to firefox announced via advisory MDVSA-2012:167. A security issue were identified and fixed in mozilla firefox: Mozilla security researcher moz_bug_r_a4 reported a regression where security wrappers are unwrapped without doing a security check in defaultValue(). This can allow for improper access access to the Location object. In versions 15 and earlier of affected products, there was also the potential for arbitrary code execution (CVE-2012-4193). The mozilla firefox packages has been upgraded to the latest version which is unaffected by this security flaw. Affected: Enterprise Server 5.0 Solution: To upgrade automatically use MandrakeUpdate or urpmi. The verification of md5 checksums and GPG signatures is performed automatically for you. https://secure1.securityspace.com/smysecure/catid.html?in=MDVSA-2012:167 http://www.mozilla.org/security/announce/2012/mfsa2012-89.html Risk factor : High |
