Description: | Summary: Cisco Collaboration Server is prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user- supplied input. Vulnerability Impact: An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and to launch other attacks. Affected Software/OS: Cisco Collaboration Server 5 is vulnerable. Other versions may be affected as well. NOTE: The vendor has discontinued this product. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
